The (very) Old Friends
Two life long mates Gaz and Si have come together after a life in business to pursue a passion for art and photography.
At The Old Friends Factory, every artwork is the result of two friends bouncing ideas, humour, and wild notions back and forth until something truly original takes shape. Friends since school their process is part playful banter, part serious craft — a collision of humour, trust, and years of shared creativity.
Specialising in collage, their work mixes cut-outs, photography, and painted elements in unexpected ways, producing images that feel both familiar and wonderfully strange. Each piece has its own personality, shaped by the push and pull of two different perspectives working in harmony.
The result? Bespoke, innovative artworks that are catching the eyes of collectors and critics alike — pieces that carry the joy of friendship as much as they do the spark of artistic invention.
Our path into art and photography wasn’t straight — it grew out of years of experimentation, exploration, and an ongoing dialogue between precision and play. We believe great art should feel familiar yet surprising, rooted in real experiences but open to imagination.
